Article 1 The purpose of the regulations is to define items related with the review and original manuscripts submitted to Family and Environment Research

Article 2 The editorial committee recommends appropriate reviewers by the contents of manuscripts. When assigning the reviewers, the editorial committee will exclude the person who is affiliated with the same organization with the auther. Reviewers per one manuscript shall be composed of three persons, and when two or more of those three reviewers determines the manuscript as [be published], it will be published. Any manuscript that two or more reviewers determined as [cannot be published], cannot be published. A set fee is paid to the reviewers.

Article 3 The reviewers should report a review result within 14 days on the online submission system.

Article 4 The results of the initial review are classified into [be published], [cannot be published], [be published after minor revision] and [be published after major revision] and the result shall be shared with the author. At this point, the names of chosen reviewers are not to be released. When the author does not return the revised manuscript within 6 months revise the manuscript without justifiable reason, it will be treated as [cannot be published].

Article 5 When the reviewers determined the submitted manuscript as [cannot be published] after reviewing it, they shall clarify the specific reason for their decision in the review processes.

Article 6 Even if the review of the submitted manuscript results in the decision [to be published], when any issue is raised such as plagiarism or others, the editorial board will re-review the manuscript.

Article 7 When the author does not return the revised manuscript with indicated modifications by the review result, the editorial board can make a decision on whether to publish it or not.
In the case of a manuscript's acceptance as [to be published after minor revision] and [be published after major revision] if the author fails to make necessary corrections on modifications indicated by the second review and by the third review after re-review done by the reviewers, then such manuscript shall be treated as [cannot be published].

Article 8 The editor-in-chief handles the items not specified in these regulations according to precedents and reports to the editorial board.

Article 9 All procedures included in reviewing shall be maintained as anonymous in principle, and the reviewers shall not leak any matter related to the reviewed manuscript to outside or any other third parties.
